Synopsis and Plot Summary
During the beginning of the 1980s, the Mu family siblings strive to keep up with the tremendous pace of changing times to realize their dreams.
Mu Feng (Wu Qijiang) hopes to finish college, Mu Lin (Lu Nuo) wants to venture into the car industry, Mu Chun (Cui Xinxin) aspires to take the stage, Mu Xue (Xin Yuxi) hopes to become a reporter. These dreams have inspired the children of the Mu family to continue moving forward. Many years later, Mu Lin has successfully developed a fuel-saving device for automobiles. Mu Xue sticks to her ideals and reports her own brother Mu Feng's illegal activities. On the road to entrepreneurship, Mu Lin solves the transportation difficulties for the farmers and secures distribution channels for them. Meanwhile, decades long grievances between the Mu family and the Bai family gradually melt away as the relationship between Mu Lin and Bai Ge (Ma Li) usher in new hope.
