Synopsis and Plot Summary

Liao Sha is an elite in the sales industry with a headstrong personality. She can overcome any difficulties to strive for the top. At home, her husband Fang Cheng is an easygoing and peace-loving man. Among their "friend circle," urban men and women undergo many trials in their relationships to unlock the most congenial way of getting along.

Fang Cheng (Sun Yizhou) is still an ordinary technician despite working for many years. At every step, his wife Liao Sha (Yin Tao) is always ahead of him. The couple hit a roadblock when Liao Sha loses her chance for a promotion. She is transferred to another department and her career takes a turn for the worse. Fang Cheng has to work twice as hard to make money as a result. With their family experiencing a shakeup, Liao Sha and Fang Cheng are given the chance to empathize with each other.

In the face of adversity, the couple jump through many hurdles together. Liao Sha once again ushers in a shining moment in her career. Fang Cheng quits his job in order to become a full-time househusband and father, thereby bringing about an even bigger shift in their family dynamics. Through the ups and down, Liao Sha learns to reflect on her attitude and begins to appreciate Fang Cheng's philosophical nature. The two come to understand that a husband and wife does not mean that one has to be strong and the other weak. Rather, the true meaning of happiness is in finding what works best for themselves.
