Synopsis and Plot Summary
In order to save the world from being tormented by the demon lord, Li Susu who is the daughter of the Hengyang Sect leader risks everything go back five hundred years ago. Incarnated as a woman named Ye Wuxi, she must stop hostage prince Tan Taijin who has not yet lost his humanity at the time from turning to darkness.
Ye Wuxi (Bai Lu) did not expect that Tan Taijin (Luo Yunxi) from the past would actually be her husband. As the two gradually fall in love, Li Susu uses herself to change the destiny of Tan Taijin and subsequently, the world. After losing the love of his life, Tan Taijin continues searching for Li Susu’s soul on the banks of the Netherworld for five hundred years.
While on the verge of death, he is saved by someone from the immortal sect and becomes a disciple of cultivation. He mends his ways and finally becomes reunited with Li Susu. However, Tan Taijin's demonic body fails to escape prying eyes and it has endangered the three realms once again. Faced with a cruel fate, one becomes a god and the other becomes a demon.

- After the series started airing, Till the End of the Moon released a revised airing schedule.
- It marks the second collaboration between Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu after Love Is Sweet.
- In October 2021, Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu's fan clubs released a joint statement asking fans to chase stars rationally. There was previously fan wars over rumors of the two reuniting for this drama.
- The booting ceremony was held on November 5, 2021.
- Till the End of the Moon achieved the highest reservations (>5 million) on Youku 1 hour before premiere.
