Synopsis and Plot Summary
Police detective Zhao Yichen's wife who is six months pregnant suddenly disappears leaving behind an 11-second phone call to the cops. In Zhao Yichen's quest for the truth, he discovers his wife's real identity and the mysterious group behind her.
Zhao Yichen's (Ren Zhong) pregnant wife Hu Jiaying (Wan Qian) went missing many years ago. In the present, Zhao Yichen receives an anonymous tip that leads him to find his daughter who is suffering from aphasia. He also learns that his wife died a year ago. As it turns out, Hu Jiaying who came from poverty is actually Xu Han, the eldest daughter of Xiguan tycoon Xu Yunfei. Xu Han has a younger twin sister named Xu Lian. They not only look alike but their voices are also very similar. Xu Han's death is full of loopholes, yet the police has failed to gather any substantial evidence.
At this time, the criminal organization that Zhao Yichen has been investigating for many years gradually reveal their tracks. These are people involved in human trafficking, drugs and casinos. Zhao Yichen discovers that they have inextricable connections with the Xu family that is being led by Xu Lian. Amidst the thick fog, truths and lies are intertwined. Justice may come late but it will reappear under the sun.
