Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story about a prisoner returning to society follows Hu Guanglai after his release from life imprisonment for killing the man who harassed his sister.
Hu Guanglai (Li Guangjie) was overcome with rage over what happened to his older sister. Rashly seeking revenge, he accidentally commits murder and is sentenced to a life behind bars. The only warmth he felt after being abandoned by his family and friends were the visits from policeman Quan Dangyuan (Hu Jun) who has always stood by him.
Hu Guanglai earns an early release from prison due to good behavior. Funeral home owner Mei Xiang (Jiang Xin) who is also released after a harsh sentencing takes him in. Hu Guanglai meets a problematic youngster in Wu Lei (Li Gan). In order to stop Wu Lei from going down the same path and repeating his past mistakes, Hu Guanglai decides to help Wu Lei.
