Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set against the backdrop of the deadly espionage war that went on behind the scenes during the Second World War, the story follows Communist party intelligence officer Liao Fei who underwent special training due to his similarity in looks to a Japanese spy. He infiltrates the Japanese army to execute the top-secret "Avalanche Plan" and weeds out the spy that has infiltrated the Soviet army.
