Synopsis and Plot Summary
Physics student Li Tian uses avant-garde theories from his scientific research to find the truth surrounding his mother's incident in Toyko. Upon confirming that humans can indeed change the world through consciousness, he steps into an intricate web of crime.
Li Tian (Zhang Rui) is a genius obsessed with his research around "The Power of Consciousness." His mother, the famous musician Mei Xueyan, becomes involved in a traffic accident in Japan. Li Tian travels to Japan alone without realizing that he's walking into a trap. Behind the scenes, a powerful enemy is secretly manipulating Li Tian using a science that is more cutting-edge than Li Tian has known to conduct a series of crimes.
In Tokyo, Li Tian meets the bubbly Zhang Ni (He Dujuan) and Detective Yamazaki (Michael Miu) who is in charge the case. The trio encounter handicapped reporter Hattori (Joseph Chang) who has been tracking the mysterious "Forerunner Band" for many years. They learn the truth from 20 years ago and discover that the huge fire from the past is connected to a shocking secret involving Li Tian’s parents.
