Synopsis and Plot Summary
Ten years ago, Xiang Yuqiu's girlfriend who was at the end of her life donated her cornea to a frail 10-year-old orphan. Ten years later, a grown up Xiang Lianxin crosses paths with her donor's lover.
Xiang Yuqiu (Yang Le) who grew up orphaned lost the love of his life when his girlfriend, Luo Ting (Qin Xue), died in an accident. Her eyes were donated to a blind girl named Xiang Lianxin. At age 20, Lianxin (Sophie Zhang) has successfully become a landscape architect and has returned to China after completing her studies abroad. By chance, she meets her donor's younger brother, Luo Rui (Chen Ziyou) who falls in love with her at first sight. However, Lianxin is in love with Xiang Yuqiu.
Xiang Yuqiu is the founder of the prominent Xiang Group. His partner Tang Shi (Mi Lu) who is secretly in love with him initially wanted Lianxin to convince him to consider marriage until she realizes that Lianxin also loves Yuqiu. Xiang Yuqiu sees Luo Ting's eyes every time he looks at Lianxin, which is why he cannot admit his feelings for her. Lianxin unexpectedly falls ill with Alzheimer's disease. She doesn't want Xiang Yuqiu to know so she asks for Luo Rui to take her with him.
