Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story about the emotional entanglements between business elite Mo Shaoqian and college student Tong Xue. The Mo enterprise went bankrupt due to Tong Xue's father and Mo's father suddenly died. Mo Shaoqian is forced to marry Mu Yongfei on the grounds of saving his family business.
On the night of their wedding, Mu Yongfei's (Wen Zhengrong) caustic remarks and relentless mockery of her own husband has led to their separation. In the past ten years, Mo Shaoqian (Hawick Lau) has repeatedly asked for divorce to put an end to their marriage. By chance, Mo Shaoqian meets Tong Xue (Ying Er) and falls in love at first sight. When he discovers her identity as his late enemy's daughter, he schemes to keep her trapped by his side.
