Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that follows a single mom and the series of challenges that she encounters after her son is admitted to a private kindergarten.
Zhuang Xixi (Zhang Yuqi) is an independent and headstrong woman who has been working hard to support her family as a single mother. Her life is simple yet fulfilled. When Zhuang Xixi's mother fell ill, she had no choice but to take on even more responsibilities as her son's education fell on her shoulders.
Zhuang Xixi's 5-year-old son Xiaoyang is studying at an expensive kindergarten and the pressure from school opened Zhuang Xixi's eyes to the growing pains middle-class mothers face. At this time, Xiaoyang’s teacher has taken an interest in Zhuang Xixi. Xiaoyang's father who is sharp and astute has returned to China to pursue his ex. Zhang Xixi does not know what to do. After experiencing rejection, rumors and encountering various problems in life, Zhuang Xixi comes to understand the most suitable path for mother and son.
