Synopsis and Plot Summary
In the late 1990s, a murder has been concealed in the darkness due to a power outage. "The wicked", "the widow" and "the cop" become involved and their destinies changed to bring out an entanglement that has lasted for twenty years.
During a hot summer night in the South, the young Wang Xueming (Eddie Peng) encountered an accident. Liang Ma's (Sylvia Chang) husband has suddenly disappeared so she sought the help of the police without knowing that she had become the next "target." Chen (Wang Yanhui) who is the officer in charge discovers that the missing persons case is far beyond his control. These individuals are all trying to peek at the truth from that night, but the memories from that summer are like a complicated jigsaw puzzle.
