Synopsis and Plot Summary
Yang Bixin (Kara Hui) who suffers from schizophrenia almost poisoned her son Ye Jinfeng (Vincent Wong). Due to the trauma, he began suffering from dissociative identity disorder to nurture another personality by the name of Zhu Ji. Zhu Ji is an expert in handwriting analysis and criminal profiling, hence becoming of great help to Jinfeng as he goes undercover to bring down a criminal organization.
Due to a series of circumstances, Jinfeng has become a murder suspect while his younger sister (Joey Thye) is admitted to a mental hospital. Feeling guilty for abandoning her children, Bixin now works as a hospital assistant to be with her daughter but she finds it hard to mend her relationship with her son Jinfeng.
Jinfeng earns the recognition of police superintendent Nie Shan (Philip Keung) who has just been cured of bipolar disorder. Jinfeng becomes the newest recruit in an elite team comprised of psychiatrist Wei Ruijie (Benjamin Yuen), bomb disposal You Yanxing (Mandy Wong), chief inspector Jiang Zhengxun (Lai Lokyi), forensic doctor Fang Wanxian (Venus Wong), forensic entomology expert Zhang Xiaoman (Shiga Lin) and Hai Lan (Hana Kuk), a novel editor under investigation due to suspicions of her involvement in the case.
