Synopsis and Plot Summary
Three women from different backgrounds face societal pressures towards having kids, their careers and their family. No matter what they choose, every road is difficult and full of obstacles. In the end, the three women grow individually to realize their self-worth and find happiness.
Xiao Yan (Tamia Liu) is an independent woman who can make waves in the workplace. She is determined to become a senior-ranking executive at Xiya Group to create a domestic makeup brand. Because of Xiao Yan's outstanding results, her company appoints her to look after the more lucrative "mother and child sector." For someone like Xiao Yan who preaches love for thyself and adheres to the philosophy of DINK (dual income, no kids), it is quite a challenge.
Luckily, her best friend You Ya (Li Nian) who is a full-time mom comes to the rescue. Because of You Na, Xiao Yan comes to understand the greatness of a mother's love. Xiao Yan's strong values also influences You Ya to become less reliant towards others. While Xiao Yan was pouring all her efforts into her new project, her rival Chen Jiaorui (Wang Yuanke) is forced to back out due to pregnancy.
After giving birth, Chen Jiaorui finds it hard to maintain to balance work and family. It is Xiao Yan who helps the new mom not only regain her confidence but also come to the realization that a child's love is truly selfless and sincere. At the same time, Xiao Yan is moved by the two mothers and learns to see from their points of view. The three women join hands to start a business together as they support each other's endeavors for the future.
