Synopsis and Plot Summary
During the Warlord Era in the history of the Republic of China, a young marshal and the daughter of a wealthy merchant who come from different worlds end up on the same train, thus marking the start to a heart-wrenching romance.
While onboard a train, Yin Jingwan (Li Xiaoran) helps a stranger evade capture. As it turns out, he is the domineering Murong Feng (Wallace Chung), known to many as Si Shao (Fourth Young Master). The two go back to their respective lives after their brief encounter. Si Shao takes power after his father dies unexpectedly. Meanwhile, Jingwan looks forward to being reunited with her fiancee Xu Jianzhang (Tan Kai). However, he has been arrested on charges of smuggling firearms. When she travels to Chengzhou in an attempt to rescue her fiancee, Jingwan and Si Shao meet again.
