Synopsis and Plot Summary

Gu Dabai and Jin Tian are two friends from China who share a flat in the UK. When an unexpected problem arises, they have no choice but to pretend to be a same-sex couple in order to obtain residency. They not only have to deal with the pressure from immigration officials, but also their struggles with friendship and love.

Musical genius Gu Dabai (Aarif Lee) who is pursuing his dream in the United Kingdom is about to be deported after failing to complete his visa requirements. In order to help Gu Bai, his childhood friend Jin Tian (Bai Ke) who already has a residence card proposes a "fake marriage." The two intended to execute their plan without anyone knowing but find it difficult because of immigration officer Watson (Rupert Graves).

At this time, He Min (Sandrine Pinna) suddenly appears as their new neighbor. He Min's angelic appearance and blunt personality captures Dabai's heart and Jin Tian who's always ready to help out his best buddy decides to play "cupid." Meanwhile, Jin Tian's own relationship with Vivian (Zhou Weitong), his girlfriend for many years, is at its worst due to trust issues. However, Jin Tian's solution to placating Vivian's doubts is through "white lies." With Dabai's parents also coming over to visit and different kinds of emergencies cropping up, the lies start to snowball into a catastrophe. Will the brothers find a way to fix things?
