Synopsis and Plot Summary

It tells the story of military commander Yu Haoting and Gu Wanning, a woman who has led a troubled life.

During a military operation, Yu Haoting (Ethan Ruan) encounters a civilian named Gu Wanning (Bambi Zhu). They develop feelings for each other and form a relationship of mutual trust. Gu Wanning gives Yu Haoting the strength to continue on as he joins hands with his comrades in a battle to eliminate all the different forces that have been harming the innocent, thereby restoring peace and stability in the Central Plains.

However, outsiders seeking to invade the Central Plains sow the seeks of misunderstanding between Yu Haoting and Gu Wanning in order to separate them. They capture Wanning in an attempt to use her to exploit his weakness, yet she refuses to cooperate. She forebears all of the hardships while standing by her ideals. Yu Haoting also overcomes a series of hardships for the day that they can finally be together as they swear loyalty to each other and to their country.
