Synopsis and Plot Summary
A marriage between a Type-A corporate powerhouse and her husband who is perceived to be weaker has worked well in the past ten years However, when the balance starts to tip, the couple find themselves feeling overwhelmed without even realizing it.
Chen Shan (Yuan Shanshan) is a lawyer in the Securities Department of a famous law firm. Nearing the age of 40, she has hit a bottleneck. Having completely devoted herself to work, she has no time to cater to the needs of her husband and her son. Her husband Sun Lei (Zhang Luyi) works in a state-owned enterprise. For the sake of his wife, he has taken on the task of caring for the family and has practically given up his own chances for career advancement.
At this time, investment banking elite Lin Qingkun (David Wang) suddenly appears. Chen Shan is competing with others to land the lucrative deal that he holds in his hands.
