Synopsis and Plot Summary
Xia Qian who was dumped by her fiancee "for no reason" was determined to embark on a new career of haggling when she meets hotel owner Sheng Zhening. The two people with very different personalities are constantly at odds, but they are forced to work together to solve one problem after the other. They eventually learn to break their disguises to fall for each other in an urban romance.
Xia Qian (Wu Jinyan) met Sheng Zhening (Lin Gengxin), the owner of Changsheng Hotel, at an engagement banquet. Because her fiancee suddenly ran away, Xia Qian who's fuming mad pins all the blame on the hotel. While in talks with them, Xia Qian discovers that her keen insights and strong analytical skills are a huge help when it comes to haggling and it opens up doors for a whole new career.
Xia Qian decides to become a haggler who bargains for other people for a living so she sets up her own company. As Xia Qian's company has frequent business with Sheng Zhening's hotel, Sheng Zhening comes to admire her through their encounters. Xia Qian's impression of Sheng Zhening also changes for the better. Whether it was Sheng Zhening's intention or not, Xia Qian's company grows over time. However, Sheng Zhening falls for a trap and gets pushed out of his own hotel. Xia Qian's ex also reappears with a new fiancee that turns out to be Sheng Zhening's younger sister, thus bringing forth new challenges in their lives.
