Synopsis and Plot Summary
A happy promise between the party, the country and its people for the year 2020 highlights a society with the ability to provide an adequate standard of living for its citizens.
It is composed of six stories, namely Nian Ye Fan (年夜饭), Qing Nian You Wei (青年有为), Fei Chang Xia Ri (非常夏日), Xiang Wang (向往), Qing Chun Yong Zhu (青春永驻) and Lai Wan Ya Xue Fen Si Tang (来碗鸭血粉丝汤). The stories touch upon family, love and friendship; it follows people who are young and old from the cities to the rural areas, from farmers to workers to white collar elites.
