Synopsis and Plot Summary
An inspector at the Shanghai French Concession teams up with a female forensic doctor to solve different cases during the turbulent times of the Republican era.
The team as a whole is comprised of different personalities. Che Suwei (Dong Xuan) is an excptionally skilled forensic examiner. Gu Yuan (Jason Koo) is a gentlemanly inspector. Deputy inspector Kang Yichen (Su Xiaozheng) is the self-proclaimed number one detective of Shanghai. The innocent Cao Qingmeng (Lv Yanbei) is a bright young reporter. Together, they crack each curious case one at a time to restore the truth.
