Synopsis and Plot Summary
It tells the story of the emotional complications and power struggles between Gong Rong, Lang Ling and Qi Lu.
It is said that the Gong clan possesses a mythical black robe that enables the wearer to become immortal. King Lu (Jia Zhengyu) who has set his sights on taking the robe for himself leads his troops to annihilate the Gong clan. Gong Rong (Aaron Yan) who is the sole survivor of his clan attempts to avenge them by killing King Lu. He runs into King Lu's childhood sweetheart Lang Ling (Lai Yumeng) and they develop feelings for each other.
King Lu has spies spread across the land. After being hunted down by King Lu's men, Gong Rong goes missing. One year later, Princesss Lang Ling is forced to marry King Lu. At a birthday banquet that King Lu prepared for Lang Ling, a magician who turns out to be Gong Rong suddenly appears.
