Synopsis and Plot Summary
The story of rebirth of a fallen princess who in the process of avenging her father saves countless lives to become a brilliant doctor.
Jiuling (Peng Xiaoran) is a kind-hearted princess who is passionate about medicine. After her father Chai Rong's premature death, she comes to suspect that her uncle played a hand in usurping the throne. A chain of events ensue as Jiuling is betrayed by her husband, loses her loved ones and experiences a drastic change.
In order to find the mastermind that has been pulling the strings from behind the scenes, Jiuling hides her true identity and arrives at Yangcheng to begin her investigation. Along the way, she works together with the minister's son Zhu Zan (Jin Han) and falls in love. Upon her return to the capital, sinister forces make repeated attempts to attack the Jiulingtang, yet she perseveres in her mission to heal others and overcomes many adversities to finally shed light on the truth behind the imperial massacre and exact justice.
