Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that follows policemen protecting nature against wildlife poaching.
In Northern Xinjiang, two policemen who have been guarding the forest against poachers engage in a deadly fight with an organized gang. As a result, one dies and one is left seriously injured while the whereabouts of the poachers remain unknown.
Five years later, Wei Jiang (Qin Hao) leaves his post in public security and chooses to continue to protect nature as a forest ranger. New recruit Qin Chuan (Yin Fang) arrives at the reserve. Despite retiring early due to his injuries, Wei Jiang becomes Qin Chuan's mentor and diligently helps him learn the ropes of patrolling.
As they familiarize themselves with the environment, the two get to know different individuals like local veterinarian Ye Xiaowan and the warm-hearted leader of the animal protection society Sai Na. An unexpected encounter leads Wei Jiang on the trail of the missing poacher and he vows to pursue the criminals until the end.
