Synopsis and Plot Summary
Ma Xiaoshuai, Ou Jie, Wang Qiang, Zhao Jiahui, Yang Yiliu are five police academy graduates. After completing an intense exercise, they usher in a new chapter in their lives. However, reality does not always align with expectations as their journey takes them in different directions.
Ma Xiaoshuai (Shi Tianshuo) who has always wanted to become a detective has no choice but to become a traffic enforcer. Being nerdy and not good with words, Zhao Jiahui (Zhang Haowei) initially wanted to fight cybercrime, yet ended up with a job that requires him to chatter endlessly as he is assigned to the streets. Yang Yiliu (William Tim) would rather die than allow anyone to shut him up, but he gets a job in front of the computer as a cyber police. Out of all of them, only Ou Jie (Jing Chao) who received the highest grades in their class managed to fulfill his wish to become a criminal police while Wang Qiang (Zhang Yujian) decided to give up on his police career.
As the guys planned another gathering, Ma Xiaoshuai chances upon new evidence to a traffic case that has aroused his suspicion. An unremarkable clue leads to a terrifying conspiracy and as the cops break through every layer, they unearth a smuggling syndicate. The leader of the group turns out to be a stranger that they were once so familiar with.
