Synopsis and Plot Summary

A female painter on the run from authorities and a young nobleman start out as a fake husband and wife before becoming a real couple.

Xiong Xiruo (Xi Zi) is a genius painter who has the ability to draw anything from memory. She becomes a fugitive after being charged with the crime of drawing the secrets involving the Li family. While on the run, she disguises herself as a servant and enters the Li manor.

Xiruo is assigned to serve Li Hongbin (Xia Ningjun), the eldest Li son who has a reputation for being cruel and violent. In reality, he is merely cold on the outside. Through a series of events, she end up spending the night with him and gets caught trying to escape. Desperate to come up with an excuse, she claims to be pregnant with his child. Lucky for her, he is also trying to find a way out of an arranged marriage with the Song family's daughter, so they decide to enter into a fake marriage.
