Synopsis and Plot Summary
The story is set during a time when natural disasters and warfare were rife in the early days of the Republic of China. A kind-hearted young doctor and his group of friends join hands to crush many conspiracies in order to save the common people.
Yang Yi (ZHu Yuanbing) has the power of the dragon spirit hidden within his body. Due to the plague, he becomes involved in the battle between various factions in Shanghai. He meets and falls for Mo Xiaoyu (Xing Fei), the daughter of Shanghai mayor Mo Sen. Meanwhile, his uncle Duo Tong (Du Yinwei) is driven mad by the pursuit of longevity and will resort to anything to achieve his sinister goals.
