Synopsis and Plot Summary

A gripping tale of ancient gods follows Shang Gu and Bai Jue whose enduring love prevails over many lifetimes. For her, one would not hesitate to destroy the world even if it spelled the end of the three realms. For her, another would wait 60,000 years and give up everything he has for her to live.

When people encounter hardships, they can worship Buddha and pray to deities but what about the gods themselves? Shang Gu (Zhou Dongyu) is the first of the four great gods. Due to the advent of chaos 60,000 years ago, she chose to sacrifice herself and fell into a deep slumber.
