Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set in the 1930's, it tells the heroic efforts of the Eighth Route Army in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
Lunan and Subei are rich in minerals. As war erupted, it has become a primary battleground for military strategists. People banded to fight, but the chaos has resulted in many skirmishes amongst themselves. Aiming to unite as one against the enemy, the Communist party dispatches Zhu Yanming (Wang Xin) and Li Muxia (Aliya) to the Huangqiushan area so they can bring the civilian armed forces together.
