Synopsis and Plot Summary
Another mystery is hidden in the antiques. The emergence of five blue and white porcelains becomes key for Xu Yuan to unlock the real identity of the Lao Chao Feng.
Xu Yuan (Xia Yu) has finally managed to clear his grandfather's name after years of being branded a traitor to his country, but his work is not complete as he continues to investigate the antique counterfeiting activities of the Lao Chao Feng. Yao Buran (Wei Chen) who is like a brother to Xu Yuan defects and becomes a member of Lao Chao Feng.
Xia Yu proceeds with his mission with the help of his girlfriend Huang Yanyan (A Liya). When he inadvertently learns that the famous Along the River During the Qingming Festival (?????) painting has a fake, Xu Yuan has no choice but to join hands with the Lao Chao Feng to find the truth. However, the move to get close with a conniving enemy may prove to be more dangerous than he though.
Fun Facts
- Filming wrapped after 147 days on December 28, 2018.
- Qiao Zhenyu and Cai Wenjing do not reprise their roles in the sequel. Instead, Wei Chen will play the character Yao Buran while A Liya will play the character Huang Yanyan.
