Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that follows a fashion magazine company aiming to stay competitive in the internet age and the people working behind the scenes to make it happen. Chen Kaiyi and Xiao Hongxue are two editors working for Sheng Zhuang while Lu Binbin in advertising welcomes the move to digital media.
In recent years, traditional media has suffered a huge blow with innovations in technology giving rise to the new media. Amidst its transition, a vacancy for the position of editor-in-chief opens up at 'Sheng Zhuang' fashion magazine. Confident in her qualifications and capabilities, deputy chief Chen Kaiyi (Song Jia) wants a shot but the company appoints Xiao Hongxue (Anita Yuen) as editor-in-chief instead. She comes in to advocate the importance of adapting to the market for the magazine to maintain its influence.
The company's new direction paves the way for advertising director Lu Binbin (Chen He) to finally flex his muscles. While it is an opportunity for some, the new norm also proves to be challenging for others from the highly-experienced editor Zhao Xin to rookie editor Li Na (Lareina Song) who try to find their footing in their respective career tracks.
