Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that follows female doctor Lan Ruoxi as she chases after her husband who still grieves the loss of his wife.
After her death, Ji Qianyun manages to return to Qi Lingxiao's (Sheng Yinghao) side as she takes the appearance of a woman named Lan Ruoxi (Lu Yixuan). To get close to her husband once more, Lan Ruoxi relies on her exceptional medicinal skills to become an imperial doctor.
However, Qi Lingxiao has changed considerably since the death of his wife and repeatedly avoids Lan Ruoxi's advances. Through her relentless efforts and the help of friends like Gu Xifeng (Gao Han), Qi Lingxiao starts to believe the truth. At this time, Lan Ruoxi learns that the persona she has assumed is actually that of a spy from an enemy country, which puts her and the lives of those around her in a precarious situation.
