Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that follows the life of legendary doctor Bian Que who lived during China’s Warring States era.
A series of unfortunate events causes Banxia (Guo Zhenni), the princess of Zheng, to be orphaned and living amongst commoners. She meets Goubao (Gao Hao) and Duhuo (Li Tingzhe) who are both disciples of the great doctor Cangshu (Dicky Cheung). He also meets Dingxiang (Sun Yaoqi), the daughter of the witch doctor Gegen (Ng Man Tat). The four of them forge a strong friendship through their adventures together. Duhuo who is in love with Banxia is exceptionally skilled yet his greed pushes him to betray his own kind. Because of this, Banxia realizes that it is Goubao whom she truly loves. Goubao with his skills in curing strange diseases dreams of serving the world. As he strives to fulfill his life's mission, he gets thrown into
