Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story about a group of young 17-year-olds who stand up to fight against evil forces in their journey towards immortal cultivation.

Teng Jing (Wang Yibo) is an orphan who has lived in Shushan since he was a child. He was raised under the care and guidance of principal Lan Tingyu (Michael Miu) and head teacher Zhong Shun (Benny Chan). As the senior of the elite class, the outstanding Teng Jing is loved by his teachers and classmates.

Meanwhile, Qiu Qi (Riley Wang) transfers in hopes of finding his missing family and gets assigned as Teng Jing's roommate. Since then, the two personalities that cannot stand each other clash repeatedly.

Xing Hui (Yukee Chen) is the icy goddess of the academy. In reality, she carries a great responsibility as the Nüwa descendant and the understanding that she must be prepared to sacrifice her life for the greater good. As such, she tries to keep a distance from the people around her but things begin to change because of her fellow students.

Fun Facts

Filming lasted three months from March 13 to June 2017.
Filming took place in Yingtan and Mount Longhu in Jiangxi province.
Hong Kong veteran actors Benny Chan, Joe Ma and Michael Miu also star.
Yukee Chen who plays a Nüwa descendant asked her boss Tang Yan who also played a Nüwa descendant in Chinese Paladin 3 for advice. Tang Yan said that even though both characters are Nüwa descendants, they are different from each other so Yukee should just take it easy and play her part well.
There are many action sequences in the drama with cast members doing their own stunts.
