Synopsis and Plot Summary
It follows Ni Hao's love story and how mother and daughter-in-law can become just like best friends who resolve family conflicts through kinship and friendship.
After Ni Hao (Yuan Shanshan) graduated from university, she gets hired at a law firm with Xu Huizhong (Chen Xiaoyi) as her new boss. The two easily get along and become friends. Xu Huizhong eventually introduces her son Manyi (Jia Nailiang) to Ni Hao. Not long after, Xu Huizhong becomes Ni Hao’s mother-in-law and the two become close as ever.
Manyi and Ni Hao’s marriage starts to encounter problems as they realize that reality is far from their ideal relationship. As they decide to divorce, Grandma suddenly gets sick, causing them to put their affairs aside for the time being. Meanwhile, Ni Hao slowly realizes that happiness may have been beside her all along.
