Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set against the backdrop of the imperial family during the Qing Dynasty, the story follows the love story between Princess Zhaohua and Er Qing's son Fu Kangan.
Zhaohua (Wang Herun) is the daughter of Wei Yingluo (Wu Jinyan) and Emperor Qianlong (Nie Yuan). It has been a long-standing tradition for the Qing Dynasty princess to marry a Mongolian prince for the sake of upholding a political alliance. As the princess, Zhao Hua must marry Lhawang Dorji (Wang Yuwei), but she gets caught in a complicated romance with Fu Kangan (Wang Yizhe) and the treacherous lies and intrigues within the palace walls.
