Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story that follows Xia Dongqing, ferryman Zhao Li and Xiao Ya as they continue to tackle incidents pertaining to the otherworld.

A long time ago, heaven and earth were connected in a place known to man as Kunlun. Gods created men and the heavenly maiden (Xuan Lu) came down to the world as god's ambassador. However, the first war erupted because the humans lost reason because of love.

Xia Dongqing (Liu Zhiyang) has a contract with the ferryman Zhao Li (Yu Yi) to help him collect wandering souls. Xiao Ya (Xiao Yin) loves Xia Dongqing even though it goes against her mandate as the fairy of the nine heavens. The trio arrive in a remote village. According to legends, sealed within the mysterious palace is the weaver girl's soul.
