Synopsis and Plot Summary
A chemist who invents a new type of drug called X-ONE joins hands with her 'bodyguard' as they put up a fight against sinister forces .
Because of her invention, Doctor Lin Aoxue (Zhang Pengpeng) has become a prime target by powerful organizations looking to steal her work. Su Rui (Yu Yue) goes undercover with a mission to protect Lin Aoxue and prevent X-ONE from falling into the wrong hands. Because he was once injured in a battle, Su Rui suffers from bouts of PTSD which causes him to lose his enhanced fighting abilities at times. Lin Aoxue is initially distrustful towards Su Rui due to many misunderstandings, yet he repeatedly saves her life and she starts to see him in a new light. With the dangers lying ahead, can Su Rui successfully complete his mission?
