Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story exploring twelve urban legends follows a professor who joins hands with a reporter to solve unsolvable cases in Hong Kong.
Urban legends are a combination of truths and non-truths; connecting the past and the present. While folk studies professor Duola (Rosina Lam) digs into the legend of the ghost bride in Bride's Pool, a place that locals claim are being haunted by ghosts, she discovers that someone has been using the legends to commit crimes that go unnoticed. Together with reporter Fu Zibo (Edwin Siu), the two work together to investigate the truth.
Duola's mentor have been missing for seven years and his son turns out to be Zibo. They decide to finish the research that he has been working only to realize that there's something unusual about his disappearance. They encounter policeman Yi Mingxian (Jonathan Cheung) whose family is related to the fox spirit. Duola's investigation leads to her own mother’s pawnshop, while Zibo learns that his father may still be alive.
