Synopsis and Plot Summary

Hu Bayi, Shirley Yang and Wang Pangzi explore a mysterious tomb in the Shaanxi region.

Shirley Yang (Kitty Zhang) travels to the Longling Maze Grottos to investigate unusual patterns on fossil fragments. On the way, she crosses paths with Hu Bayi (Pan Yueming) who along with Wang Pangzi (Jiang Chao) have just escaped from the ancient city. The trio become companions in another tomb-raiding adventure.

• Filming began on May 11, 2019 in Shaanxi and ended on August 18, 2019.
• Tencent has rights to adapt eight novels from the Ghost Blows Out the Light series.
• It is the fourth installment of the Tencent online dramas adapted from the Ghost Blows Out the Light series of novels.
• It brings back Pan Yueming as the main protagonist after Candle in the Tomb: The Wrath of Time although he now plays a different character as Hu Bayi.
• Previous actors who played Hu Bayi in the same franchise were Jin Dong and Ethan Ruan.
