Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that chronicles the touching journey of an ordinary soldier. Coming from a rural village, he relies on his never give up, never leave anyone behind attitude to become an exceptional army scout.
Xu Sanduo (Wang Baoqiang) was lacking in many ways when he first joined the army. He is kind and too simple that his stupidity has gotten his comrades into trouble more often that not. Because of his determination, he touches everyone around him with his sincerity. Because of his persistence, he becomes the pride and joy of the entire troop. Even though his home was turned into rubble and ash after an explosion, it hasn't deterred him from becoming a soldier.
