Chinese Dramas Affected By The Hallyu Ban

In 2016, China implemented an unofficial ban (限韩令) on all forms of Hallyu aka Korean wave due to political diasgreements between China and Korea over THAAD. The ban covered everything that involved any form of Korean entertainment such as K-Dramas and K-Pop. It also included Chinese dramas that featured Korean actors or actresses. The ban seems to have been lifted in 2017 as diplomatic ties between the two countries were on the mend though many dramas have not aired, leaving many of us to wonder whether they will ever air.
