Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story that follows a leftover woman and a man with a fear of marriage who conquer many obstacles, dispel each other's apprehensions and triumph over their parents judgments to become a couple.

Yang Tao (Gao Yuanyuan) is the manager at a four-star hotel. Because she had been hurt in love before, she has chosen to remain single even at the age of 32. The 36-year-old Guo Ran (Huang Haibo) handles divorces at the marriage registration office. His job and his parents marriage have casted a shadow on him that he has become someone who is against the idea of marriage.

Forcefully setup by their friends, Taozi and Guo Ran unwillingly meet each other for the first time. To their surprise, they leave with good impressions and begin to open up to the idea of dating. Unfortunately, Taozi finds out about Guo Ran's fear of commitment and leaves angry. Facing the reality of her situation, she becomes determined to go on dates. Her actions knock Guo Ran to his senses and he does everything he can to mess up Taozi's dates even though he still cannot seem to accept his own insecurities. Will the couple ever find love with each other?
