Synopsis and Plot Summary

A legendary tale that follows an organization of women spies established by the Kuomintang. Due to their bravery, extraordinary skills and love for their country, they are recruited by the Communist party.

When the war began, Communist party member Guo Chunguang (Li Chao) received orders to gather intelligence against the Wang Jingwei regime using his identity as a dentist in Shanghai as cover. At the same time, the Military Commission has appointed Gu Xuefeng (Li Zhu) as the new station head of Shanghai to establish code thirteen, a spy organization of women with the mission to fight against Japanese occupation. Guo Chunguang discovers their purpose and tries to blend in in order to assist in the operations. After code thirteen successfully assassinates a traitor, the Wang Jingwei regime make their counterattack. Guo Xuefeng turns against his comrades after his captured and starts to pursue members of code thirteen.
