Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story about a demon prince who is stripped of his royal status to become a constable. Together with his lover, comrade and friend, he upholds justice to defeat evil.
It is a tense period under the reign of the old King, he is weak and sickly and his sons are plotting to take over the throne. The 7th Prince Xun Yan (Chen Yuming) is the only one who has kept out of the palace politics. There are rumors that he is the son of a demon and even though he is exceptionally gifted, he is shunned for his existence and lives carelessly everyday.
When Xun Yan mistakenly injures the Crown Prince in order to save the 9th Princess, the King strips his title and assigns him a post as a constable in Jinyuan County. Inside a brothel, a man has mysteriously died in Ru Yue's (An Chenxin) quarters. Xun Yan relies on his superhuman abilities to sniff out the real culprit. He makes many friends along the way and starts on a crime-solving journey, all while a conspiracy thickens in the palace.
