Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story that about the little people in society who join hands to help an actor regain his fame and find warmth with each other during trying times.

Hao Zeyu (Deng Lun) debuted 10 years ago through a talent competition. The years have untreated him kindly as he is now considered a has-been. He meets an unconventional team comprised of the beautiful Niu Meili (Ni Hongjie) who's in her middle ages, the chubby and unemployed Fu Zi (Sandra Ma) and Fu Zi's dad (Han Tongsheng) who works as a driver.

The three are determined to turn Hao Zeyu into a big star. Through a stroke of luck, Hao Zeyu gets his shot at stardom which ignites a series of events. Faced with a choice between personal interests and family and complicated by romance, the interim family unit is in danger of falling apart.

Fun Facts

Filming began on October 15, 2018.
Filming took place in Beijing.
Sandra Ma and Deng Lun worked together in the variety show Who's the Keyman.
Many noticed Sandra Ma's weight gain when she attended the Weibo Night Awards held in January 2019. She responds that she could finally eat without guilt because she had to decided to put on more pounds for the role.
It is Li Xiao's third project in the 'mister' series.
