Synopsis and Plot Summary

A couple that once experienced life and death together come face to face in the business world, yet misunderstandings and conspiracies push them into a love-hate relationship.

Shen Yien (Guli Nazha) and her boyfriend Ye Qilei joined hands in business and their career shot up soon after graduating from university. However, competing interests and business treachery result in the accidental death of Ye Qilei. Shen Yien did not falter from the loss of her loved one but carried the burdens of running a business on her own and continuing the search for Ye Qilei.

As it turns out, Ye Qilei was rescued from near death but due to the seriousness of his injuries, he had to go through several surgeries to obtain a new face and a new identity to investigate the truth about his accident. He returns as Lu Zhun (Yang Shuo), the CEO of a fashion company. Despite being neither friend nor foe to Shen Yien, they fall in love once more. Shen Yien's childhood friend Qin Ye (Jeremy Jones) also pursues her while her friend Cen Wei (Zhao Han Ying Zi) has become attracted to the handsome and suave Lu Zhun. The four people are stuck in a complicated imbalance of friendship and romance amidst the hidden dangers of the workplace.
