Synopsis and Plot Summary
For the livelihood of her family, Jiang Guifang relies on her skills to open a dumpling shop with her children.
After a period of over 30 years from 1984 to 2018, old lady Jiang (Chen Xiaoyi) has remained strong for her family. She experienced many hardships throughout with the difficulties of running a dumpling shop and facing relocation. Their household experienced many blows with Jiang Guifang's eldest daughter getting sick, her second daughter getting divorced, her third son getting married and her fourth daughter running away. She also adopted her fifth son and bravely faced the challenges in life, no matter what the future may bring.
