Synopsis and Plot Summary

A high-adrenaline story about a young man who the challenges in the road ahead to chase his dream of becoming a professional race car driver.

Lu Jie (Elvis Han) who grew up in Australia is a genius at car racing. However, his father Jie Sen forbids him from having anything to do with the sport. Lu Jie secretly joins an illegal race and gets scouted by Tian Ye (Dylan Ding), a race team manager. They become like brothers as they join hands to conquer the world of car racing. Lu Jie achieves success as a newcomer and eventually earns his father's acknowledgement. However, they end up falling for the same woman (Xu Lu), and a tragic accident turns them against each other.

Filming took place in Zhuhai, Guangzhou and Australia.

The car that Elvis Han was driving flipped while he was filming, but he managed to remain calm.
Du Haitao was the best at eating among the cast. Dylan Ding said that no matter how late they finish filming, Haitou could always find good restaurants.
Dylan Ding is a new driver. He just got his license three months before filming began.
Producer Han Hao said that a lot of the money for the production went to the cars.
The release date was announced just a day before premiere. Aside from airing on Tencent, Speed will also be taking over the time slot previously occupied by Eagles and Youngster on Dragon TV after it was suddenly pulled mid-broadcast.
