Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story that follow three friends from different families who grow over the years from being boys to real men.

Yang Yan (Li Jiahang), Qi Zhansheng (Wan Peixin) and Wang Xiaobing (Jiang Han) were raised in the 1970's. It was a humble time and people held a conservative mindset. With the proper upbringing from their parents, the three friends have learned to be kind and principled. From the year 1980's until the 1990's, the nation promulgated an era of reform and they ride the tide while carrying their hopes and aspirations for the future.

At this time, Qi Zhansheng's first love Yun Duo goes missing. Because of the pressure, Wang Xiaobing and Guan Xueqing separate. Yang Fan experiences the lowest point of his life, yet finds a glimmer of hope when he meets the sunny Tan Yanfei (Yao Di). Despite their struggles, they gradually work their way up the ladder to become forces to be reckoned with in the business world.
