Synopsis and Plot Summary
A woman enters into a paper marriage with a college professor but finds that she must deal with the consequences of her choice.
In order to buy a house and settle down with her boyfriend (Zhang Yishan), Yezi (Liu Xiyang) enters into a paper marriage with Professor Wang Feng (Zhang Hui). Just when everything seems to be going well, her boyfriend falls for another woman. Devastated, Yezi turns to alcohol to numb the hurt. At the same time, Wang Feng falls into a vegetative state due to an accident. As the paper marriage has not been annulled, the young Yezi finds that she must carry on as his wife.
Fun Facts
- While filming a scene, Liu Xiyang's horse was extremely wild and galloped straight towards a herd of horses. The actress decided to jump off to avoid being trampled.
- While doing promotions for the film, Guan Xiaotong was the subject of rumors saying that she was kicked out from Beijing Film Academy. Zhang Hui who's the dean at the school and the director of the movie spoke up on behalf of Guan Xiaotong and considered her a model student.
- The movie is being produced by Youth Film Studio which is the film arm of Beijing Film Academy.
- Liu Xiyang, Zhang Yishan, Yang Zi and Guan Xiaotong are all from Beijing Film Academy.
